OUR COMPANY
A Golden Isles native, Bo has deep roots in Coastal Georgia. Graduating from the University of Georgia in 2004 with a Landscape Architecture degree, he's been immersed in the field ever since. Bo's journey includes work at multidisciplinary firms, managing expansive landscape companies, and founding Sticks and Stones Outdoor Living in Kansas City. This high-end residential design/build firm specialized in crafting distinctive outdoor living spaces. Bo's involvement spanned from designing to hands-on building alongside his skilled team.
Relocating with his family to Coastal Georgia in 2019, Bo spent four years as a designer and project/construction manager at a St. Simons Island landscape architecture firm. His expertise covered upscale residential projects, encompassing pools, outdoor areas, hardscapes, lighting, and more. Bo's diverse experience also embraces large-scale planning, golf course design, and park development.

In July 2023, the dynamic duo of Bo and Blake came together to launch Salt Design Group, with a clear mission: transforming client dreams into tangible realities. They start by meticulously comprehending their clients' requirements, the unique site characteristics, and overarching objectives. Through collaborative efforts, they formulate achievable goals and explore multiple design concepts, which are then honed to perfection to yield a final, comprehensive plan.
OUR STORY
Originating from Tifton, GA, Blake's formative years included active engagement in various sports, notably Golf, fostering his genuine affinity for the outdoors. With a discerning eye for design and an innate appreciation for nature's aesthetics, Blake pursued a Landscape Architecture degree at the University of Georgia. Following his 2015 graduation, he established roots in the Golden Isles, where he has since thrived. From January 2017 to June 2023, Blake excelled at a prominent St. Simons Island landscape architecture firm, specializing in crafting upscale residential landscapes, pools, resort environments, and new residential development plans. Blake's career has centered around guiding projects from conception to fruition, with adaptability and evolution as guiding principles. His expertise spans diverse areas, including pool design, outdoor living spaces, hardscapes, and more.
